The couple that gets manicures together, stays together. Err, wait, is that how that goes? In any case, both halves of everyone’s favorite power couple, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, stepped out on the Oscars red carpet with eye-catching nail looks created by manicurist Thuy Nguyen.
That’s not to say the couple went the matchy-matchy route: Union opted for mid-length, almond-shaped tips coated in a dusty pink polish, CND Shellac in Field Fox. The shade contrasted beautifully with her metallic gown and mirrored the soft, peachy tones of her makeup. To achieve a multi-dimensional sheen on Union’s cheeks, makeup artist Tasha Reiko Brown applied Chanel Roses Coquillage Powder Blush Duo in Roses Coquillage before topping it off with Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Mermaid Glow, a subtle highlighter.
